Why have just one Pokemon Duel video when you could have two? I liked creating the first one so much I decided to gather more Gems and spend more than I honestly thought I would. I wanted more Pokemon and more booster opening content to showcase. Gathering more Pokemon, opening more boosters it’s a good match and it’s fun to edit and prep.
I get to flex my creativity to create the backdrops for the video, make some intros and outros. It’s all in all a good time, I’m curious to see how the videos perform overall. I’m always looking to create more content and in the end, as long as it relates to video games I think it’ll all work out for what I’m trying to accomplish.
Let’s Try Something New and Different – Pokemon Duel
With Pokemon Duel, I thought I’d try something a little different, and surprisingly this video may have taken the longest yet to get completed. It took me a while to learn how to properly piece together how to make a video like this. Taking the recording from my iPhone and placing it into my video editing software, then make a background image to fill the black void that was created; finally, make it interesting to look at.
This is a different approach to my usual let’s play style videos and I’m curious to see how it does alongside my other content. Will it do better or worse, I’m curious to find out. Having these Gems to burn why not make something I can post out of it, don’t think too much about it. It was fun to learn something new and take a chance on something different that I’ve never done before.
Kingdom Hearts 2 Gets Crazy from This Point Onward
After coming from my favorite part, this is where everything goes into overdrive in Kingdom Hearts 2, the game doesn’t slow down from this point.
It’s time for the 1000 heartless battle with Goofy down Sora, Donald, and the King are rushed into the fray. This part is completely amazing, you run from battle to battle and fight alongside Tifa, Leon, and Cloud.
It’s so amazing, the music is in full swing; you’re avenging Goofy and taking down tons of Heartless.
It’s only for a short time but fighting alongside Cloud is a definite highlight
Before we know it Goofy’s back and it’s time to jump into the biggest battle in the entire game.
Moving forward we get a little cutscene between Ansem the Wise and Mickey, but we’re not here for that. We’re here to take down 1000 Heartless!
Annihilating 1000 Heartless
Wasting no time we move forward and get surrounded by countless Heartless. Surrounded by Ansem who is controlling the horde of Heartless, it’s time to battle!
It’s just Sora and 1000 Heartless, it’s pretty damn amazing
This part is amazing, it’s one big fight with a ton a Heartless. The worst part is that you’re stuck with the Limit Drive Form only, not to say it’s worthless; it’s just not as fun as the others you have.
One complaint is that there are only two variants of Heartless but it’s so much fun it can be overlooked.
Oh Right Story
After that battle, it’s time to jump back into the story where you lose King Mickey again. That’s the theme, he always leaves as soon as he enters.
Axel shows up to tease you with news of Kairi and to tell you to have it memorized. Maleficent attempts to make good on how evil she is and she does save Sora, it’s an interesting twist.
We get sea salt ice cream and call this an episode.
Have I mentioned that Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series of all time? Seems important.
Hey, if you’ve played Kingdom Hearts 2 or are currently playing it leave a comment below. I’m interested to know if you’ve attempted the 1000 heartless battle and survived.
Kingdom Hearts 2 is a Classic and it’s Amazing on PlayStation 4 Pro
Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series of all time, no contest and Kingdom Hearts 2 is no slouch. The only game series that has even remotely come close to toppling it is the Bioshock games. I know it’s hard to look past the roughly ten total games under the Kingdom Hearts banner. However, if you look at the mainstays it’s nothing but a good time. The PlayStation 4 Pro makes the game shine in a way that I didn’t think was possible. It looks amazing, plays amazing, and never falters when the action turns up to eleven.
When Cloud and Sephiroth meet everything gets turned to eleven
I’ll be the first to admit that this game has an incredibly slow opening and takes way too long to get going. But when it does it doesn’t stop, it just keeps you guessing and flinging you forward to defeat more Heartless and Nobodies. Honestly this part of the game, basically the halfway point is the best part of the game in my opinion. It has some great reveals, plays with your emotions, and has the biggest battle in the whole game.
It’s Just the Lead-Up but It’s a Great Build Up
This entire part is one big build-up for the real battle that happens in the next part I’ll be posting. This is all about getting pumped for the true battle that Sora, Donald, and Goofy will have to face.
Everything you see here will be fought and destroyed
We learn more about Organizations Thirteens’ true motives, meet up with Cloud and Sephiroth, talk to King Mikey and totally disobey him, take down a member of Organization Thirteen, and did I mention this all happens in the span of twenty minutes. That’s a hell of a roller coaster the game puts you on and this is just the opener for the more crazy things to come. This is just the halfway point of the story for Kingdom Hearts 2. Going back to fix all the Disney worlds again happens after this and it’s just a treat.
Hey, if you’re playing Kingdom Hearts or have played Kingdom Hearts let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you and your experiences! Heck if you could let me know if you like my content, that would mean the world to me. Love it or hate it any way you slice it could help me improve.
If you made it to the bottom or end of the video you’re amazing! Go get yourself a cookie, make it a chocolate chip; you’ve earned it!
Jumping right into the dark forest we left off at last time, it’s time to get past a fear of Crows and save the forest. After running into a whole bunch of crows blocking the path we reach a crack that we can’t quite deal with yet. Moving forward we see the shiny key we oh so need in the distance. Problem is that a wild Crow possesses it and it has an entire army helping it out.
Run Iota they’re going to steal your soul!
Getting close tells us that you don’t mess with the Crows and the sky god decides to take pity on us. After we make our clouds to fill the sky. We gain access to a new power, the power to control the wind and blow past any obstacles. This is amazingly cool as you just gesture on the touchpad of the Dual Shock 4 and the wind blows in the direction that you slide your finger.
Paving a Path Forward Using the Amazing Power of the Wind in Tearaway
We use the wind to move some cloth on the ground to form a bridge so we can cross a chasm. Next, we flip a platform to get it to give us an opening to move onward. But not before grabbing a present under it. I grab several presents while moving through this section which is just an amazingly rewarding feeling. Crossing a few chasms moves us to the key but the Crow runs away and the scraps come into ruin our day.
Your damn right, I fell right into their ambush
From here we’re stuck and we need to battle our way to get off the rock. Using the wind we can stagger the scraps to beat them. Once they are out of it; its as easy as throwing them off. We continue to chase the key down, grabbing some presents along the way. We roll open a gate and enter what feels like a beehive.
Bee Flooring That Flips over Ain’t Going to Stop Iota
This section is very cool, you can use the wind to flip the flooring beneath you. It’s a two-way street however as the Crows can also flip the floor by flying over it. But that’s a little later, for now, we need to cross a pit using a barrel that we move with the wind. From here it’s just crossing some more chasms, taking pictures, and defeating more scraps. Next time we’ll continue to chase down the Crow and hopefully get the key back.
Today’s episode is truly a fun one, as we get to the good stuff right off the bat. After leaving Maypole Fields we quickly learn that a once-great warrior pig is now sad. Well, this just won’t do. We’re going to have re-ignite his love for battle if we are to proceed. Thankfully this is as easy as fixing his one small eye and making it nice and big. I try my best to make it identical size but I think I may have missed the mark a bit.
Nah, those eyes are close enough; it’s all good
We jump on this now fearless hogs back and ride headfirst into those dastardly scraps that block our path. This part of the game is a nice change of pace from everything else we have seen in Tearaway thus far. The pig is fast and controls great, it’s not a non-stop runner you can go backward as well as forward. This gives you a chance to not miss any destructible boxes or enemies. The music roars and the pig moves at full-speed, you can use the Guiding Light to help destroy scraps and help heal the world.
Iota and a Pig Braving the Darkness to Find True Love
Going from the nice beautiful outside to the dark and dank inside of a cave isn’t enough to stop us. Using the Guiding Light of the Dual Shock 4 controller we light up a path to take through the darkness. This allows us to deal with scraps and a few puzzles in our path. The cave is a pretty stark difference from anything else we have seen yet in Tearaway. There are emblems on the walls and ground, maybe they’re relics from the past or maybe they’re just world-building. Either way, I’m determined to make it all as clean as possible.
The only game I can think of where two pigs come together to find true love
Exiting the cave brings us back out into the sunshine as we come to the end of our big adventures. Thus we find what appears to be our hero pigs’ wife and they go inside a little hut. The game deals with this in a very adorable way that I won’t ruin her. Iota is still young don’t you know. Moving on from that life lesson brings us to everyone applauding us for making it this far on our quest.
The World Opens Up, We Meet Some Elk and Need to Deal with Some Dastardly Crows
Coming out of the other side of the applause we come to a big field where we can explore at our leisure. This is the first time this game opens up and it’s nice. It keeps it linear by telling you how to progress but letting you explore the area to your heart’s content. Moving to a big house we have a crow steal a key and fly into what looks like some scary woods. Unfortunately, we need that key to enter the house and apparently, crows steal souls.
You can’t match the majesty of this amazing Elk so don’t even try
Moving behind the house I find an area that has no color, we change this with a quick blast of the Guiding Light. We save a sweet Elk by bringing light back into the cave that was once covered by scrap everywhere. Moving back into the open field we explore the area a bit to collect some presents. failing at talking to people on a boat we give an Elk that has all hope a new look to feel better about himself. From there we head over to where the dastardly Crow brought the key and call this today’s episode!
