(1) Titanfall 2 Is Amazing | Dropping Updated Titans

Titanfall 2 has a stellar multiplayer

Titanfall 2 is just a stellar game and I’m incredibly happy to see that since the November 30th update more and more people are playing.  Since Angel City was added via the update they have a 24/7 grab bag game mode. I dive right into that mode as it was easily one of if not my favorite map from the original Titanfall.  Surprisingly after searching for a match, I instantly get into a game in progress; thankfully it’s still early.  My teams winning 20 to 0 in a Hardpoint match and I want to keep it that way.

Hardpoint Is Just so Much Fun

Hardpoint is where two teams battle to control multiple points on the map.  This usually boils down to three locations.  You move to one of the three points and sit on it until a bar fills completely.  Thus you claim the point and gain points, the more spots you hold the more points you get.  The cool thing about Titanfall 2 is that once you grab a point you can Amp the point to gain even more points and add an extra layer of defense on top of that.  It’s super fun; that’s all I’m really trying to say here.

Starting off the match by rushing point B does not end all too well for me.  So I set my sights on point C and still manage to get gunned down on my first attempt. The second attempt though gets me inside with a few teammates and we take / amp the point, allowing us to make a nice lead by holding point B as well.  Grabbing the point allows me to call down my Titan and then the real fun of this game begins.

Prepare for Titanfall!

Dropping a Titan and becoming level 34

Dropping a Titan is just an incredible feeling each and every time.

Even though I’m not the first person in the match to do so, it’s still enough to lay waste to the enemy.  Seeing that point A needs my help I transfer my attention and Titan to go help.  From there it’s Titan on Pilot combat.  I may not have the Smart Core but while taking the point I miss a Pilot completely but am still able to help take down an enemy Titan and secure as well as amp point A.  After this moving to point C causes some more Titans to be downed in my path.  I am put into the Doomed state and need to hide in order to finish capturing and amping point C.

Bringing down a Titan

Bringing Down a Titan in Titanfall 2

Making a Titan explode with an explosion; just another day at the office.

This works to my advantage though as I find a Titan that no one has entered yet.  Running up to it just as it lowers its shield allows me to go nuclear and eject into the sky.  This is one of the thrills of this game that never gets old. Everything is constantly exploding, gun battles are fast and it’s all effortless.  The wall-running, the jumping, the Titanfalls, and the gunplay all merge into a symphony of destruction that you’re placed at the center of. The cool part about blowing up my Titan is that I instantly gain another Titanfall immediately.

Missing a Punch but making the second punch

Missing the first blow but landing the second, ah memories.

Crunch, Crunch, Crunch

Crunch, Crunch, Crunch

Numbers Going up is Always Excite

Watching those numbers go up is just great!

Taking the victory in stride I rush an enemy Titan to rip out its battery and to help my team take it down.  From there I use my thunderbolt to help take down so other Titans and hold up in a cafe near the evacuation point.  Killing some Pilots and dooming some Titans is all in a day’s work.  This causes me to be at the top of the leader board for my team and a really close second for the whole match.  From there it’s leveling up and getting a new Boost to make sentries that destroy Titans.

Next, let’s focus on having a bounty hunting good time!
