Honestly, after using both headsets on the PS5 the only difference in my opinion is the wireless aspect. I like the Pulse headset because you just plug the USB dongle into the console and they instantly connect the moment they turn on.

They both sound fantastic and utilize the 3D audio whichever way you’re using them. I am completely amazed that the Pulse headset matches the WH-1000XM3s! I just prefer no wires so the 3D pulse headsets are my go-to, I use the WH-1000XM3s wirelessly on my computer.

The thing to note is that the 3D Pulse headsets are nowhere near as comfortable as the WH-1000XM3s. It took a while to break them in so they’re more comfortable than when I was first using them but, they’re not even close to the WH-1000XM3s.

I could wear the WH-1000XM3s all day without even thinking about it. You only feel the price difference in the comfort level.

The Pulse 3D does match the WH-1000XM3s in terms of sound in my opinion. They’re built to be used with the PS5.
